Dylan Veselic Death and Obituary – A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken the Bay Village community following the death of Dylan Veselic, a sophomore at Bay High School and a member of the boys lacrosse team. Dylan passed away after sustaining a severe head injury during a varsity lacrosse game against Olmsted Falls on Tuesday night.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred when an Olmsted Falls player attempted a shot on goal. Dylan, playing defensively for Bay High School, moved to block the shot. Tragically, the ball struck him at the base of the back of his head—an area not fully protected by his helmet. Despite immediate attention and emergency response, Dylan succumbed to his injuries, and his death was confirmed on Thursday morning.
