His leadership on the field helped shape one of the team’s strongest defensive seasons, particularly in 2013, when the team secured five shutouts and an impressive 442-minute scoreless stretch.
Academically, Gregg demonstrated the same drive and excellence. He earned Capital One Academic All-District honors in 2013 and was awarded the NCAA Division II Degree Completion Award in 2015. He graduated in May 2016 with a double major in accounting and finance, with a concentration in personal financial planning. Professionally, Gregg was making his mark as a Certified Public Accountant. At the time of his passing, he was a Tax Manager at Brown Plus (formerly Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz) in Camp Hill. He remained closely tied to Shippensburg University, serving for eight years as a volunteer assistant coach for the men’s soccer team, guiding and mentoring student-athletes who followed in his footsteps. He also led as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and participated in numerous campus outreach events such as Special Olympics and One Night, One Wish. He was a member of the business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma and actively engaged with the Accounting Club and SU’s Apple Leadership Team.
