Forkland Man Arrested After Deadly Shooting at Dollar General
The arrest of 28-year-old Jamal Lee has brought new developments in a homicide investigation that has shaken the small town of Forkland. Authorities confirmed that Lee has been charged with murder following the tragic death of 31-year-old Boris Moody, who was found shot multiple times inside the local Dollar General store early Sunday morning.
Deputies responded to reports of gunfire just after opening hours and discovered Moody critically wounded. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside state investigators, quickly secured surveillance footage, interviewed witnesses, and gathered forensic evidence from the store.
