Yesterday, in the blink of an eye,everything changed forever with the passing of Charlie Stoner. Charlie died peacefully in his sleep, leaving family and friends devastated by the sudden loss.
Charlie was a dedicated professional with a diverse career. He served as Front House Management at Avellino’s and previously worked as a Events and Marketing Specialist at McClain’s at First & Main. His background also included roles as a Financial Services Representative at Carter Bank & Trust, Assistant Manager at Jos. A. Bank, Customer Service Representative at Shelor Motor Mile, and Cashier at Reed Lumber Company.
A proud graduate of Christiansburg High School, Charlie continued his education studying Communication at New River Community College. Residing in Christiansburg, Virginia, Charlie’s life was rooted deeply in his hometown.
Known for his friendly personality and unwavering work ethic, Charlie touched many lives. His sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Charlie is survived by his family, friends, and the community he cherished.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those touched by his kindness and dedication. Funeral arrangements will be announced soon, as the community mourns the loss of a beloved friend and colleague.
