It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt respect that we extend our condolences to the family, friends, and fellow service members of Major Jonathan H. Dias, a distinguished active-duty officer in the United States Air Force, who tragically lost his life in a fatal accident. MAJ Dias’ untimely passing is a profound loss to our nation, his community, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
A proud patriot, MAJ Dias served with dedication, courage, and an unwavering commitment to duty. His life was a testament to the highest ideals of service and sacrifice. The legacy he leaves behind will endure in the lives he touched and the freedoms he helped defend.
To honor his memory and service, Conner & Koch Funeral Home of Bellbrook will escort MAJ Dias and his family on the evening of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from Dayton International Airport (DAY) to Bellbrook. This solemn procession will be supported by local law enforcement, military personnel, and the Governor’s Patriot Guard, reflecting the deep respect held for this fallen hero.
We invite the community to come together and pay tribute to MAJ Dias along the designated procession route. Upon exiting I-675, the escort will proceed north on Wilmington Pike, turn east onto Feedwire Road, travel south on Upper Bellbrook Road, and then turn right through the center of Bellbrook onto E. Franklin Street, arriving at Conner & Koch Funeral Home.
The procession is expected to arrive in Bellbrook between 6:45 PM and 7:30 PM. We encourage all who are able to stand along the route—especially in parking areas near local schools or on the sidewalks of downtown Bellbrook—to show your support and gratitude.
Please consider wearing red, white, and blue, waving American flags, and most importantly, being present to offer a final salute to a true American hero. Your presence is a powerful gesture of unity, appreciation, and respect for a life given in service to our country.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the Dias family. May they find comfort in the love of their community and the lasting honor bestowed upon Major Jonathan H. Dias.
